Sixth Billing Year Data

2008 - 2009

In June 2008 there were a record number of wildfires in California, including some close enough that we could smell the smoke. This left a lot of soot on the PV panels and reduced power production. On August 2, in the late afternoon, we washed the solar panels.

You can see the big bump up in production after we washed the solar panels on August 2nd.

We used an average of 61.8 KWH/day this year compared with 62.9 KWH/day last year. I spent a month more away from home than usual. Then in the spring one of the computers died and wasn't replaced.
