Today is Luffy's Day! translator's notes: on the lyrics sheet, "Mary" is written out as "prow". I could have taken "Merry" from the Going-Merry, but I decided to use "Mary", as the Going-Merry was donated by Kaya and her butler Mary.... or should I just spell that butler "Merry" and be done with it all...? (-_-;;) But in any case, Luffy calls that sheep's-head look-alike prow of the Going Merry "Mary" (or "Merry")..... (^^;;) Also, the first "holiday" in the (needlessly energetic) chorus is spelt "holyday" in MSC3... but I know this is a typo because it's spelt correctly ("holiday") in MSC2 and MBSC. ^^;; |
