The more reserved half of the BN Boyz, Taku is known for extremely long periods of silence,
perhaps due in part to his job where he answers fanboy anime questions all day. The question,
"Do you have the Robotech CD?" used to send him into fits of apoplexy, but now that it's been
rereleased, all he can do is nod and try not to rip out one of the asker's vital organs as a warning
to others.
Taku's underworld dealings are rarely publicized, and are the subject of much speculation. He is rumored to be a trafficker in contraband, which he receives by employing some unwitting soul to carry stuff (like the KOR LD Box) back for him from the country that gave us the Geisha, the Walkman, and H doujinshi. When no one is around, he likes to play with dolls. |
Profile Dickinson, or "Chico," as he likes to be known, has been so traumatized by his job as Asst. Whipping Boy at Books Nippan that he has developed acute schizophrenia. This other personality, known colloquially as FanMan, spouts stream of consciousness insults, invectives, and sarcasm at all who cross his path. Chico, on the other hand, is a naive, wide-eyed fanboy, reminiscent of those paintings of big-eyed children on velvet. (The ones you find by the "Dogs Playing Poker" painting in the drugstore). He prefers to let FanMan handle the difficulties in life while he devotes his free time to gaming on the internet all night long (and being late for work the next day as a result). Chico is often seen in the company of Taku (aka 'Teto'), and is rumored to be his right-hand man.
