I worked as a part-time freelance writer for the Information Management Group in Albany, NY, during part of May and all of June 2003. The programming staff was updating and enhancing the Head Start Staff Tracker web application and I was asked to rewrite the manual. I ended up using the manual for reference in some cases and rewrote a new manual from scratch. The work was done in MS Word and I used a screen capture package for all new images. I also used PhotoShop for some minor image tweaking. |

As a programmer, I updated java code and did troubleshooting for my internal clients on a java application. This particular application was used by the client to edit content files for Key's web site. This is a piece of documentation I wrote concerning some troubleshooting I did, as the software was undocumented, the original programmer was gone, and I had to figure the application out as I worked. |

I designed and wrote the code (by hand, in a text editor) for this online quiz for my internal client. This is the page the quiz is launched from. Scroll down to the Decision Tools section and select "Which IRA is right for you?". This link takes you to a listing of the JavaScript code. The audience for this script is users of Key Bank's web site. |
