Sunfish Pond

Sometimes I like to take a drive out to the Delaware Water Gap and do some hiking along the Appalachian Trail in New Jersey. In Worthington State Forest can be found Sunfish Pond, a glacially carved pond high on a mountainous ridge.

Someone had used some of the natural rock debris by the side of the pond to create a little sculpture garden. It reminded me of the similar stone stacks that I'd seen on Block Island just a few weeks earlier.

Naturally, I couldn't resist taking another picture of myself in an appropriately cheesy pose among the rocks.
