New York State article

There's an article today about a guy who installed solar panels on his house in Bethlehem, NY. But I thought it was interesting that New York State currently gets 18% of its electricity from renewable sources. I suppose a lot of that is from Niagara Falls. In California, I don't think large hydroelectric is considered renewable. Then again, most of the hydroelectric power in California is from dammed rivers, not from natural waterfalls.
